Luminira Wealth Strategists Inc. is a wealth planning consulting company founded in 2004 by Lisa Collins.
As a result of her experience in private law practice and in the financial services industry, Lisa Collins recognized a growing need for proactive planning for private business owners and other affluent families which is integrated with their financial affairs. They need to have a better understanding of the issues and opportunities that arise from their unique personal and financial circumstances. They want to make more efficient use of their professional advisors.
Lisa is a legal professional who has over 27 years’ experience in tax and business planning, estate and succession planning and related areas. Prior to establishing Luminira Wealth Strategists, Lisa managed the Wealth Planning Group of a major financial services company. Her experience also includes over 16 years in private law practice with two large law firms in Winnipeg, serving the tax, business and estate planning needs of owner manager clients. She is a frequent speaker and seminar leader on wealth planning topics.
Lisa is also the principal of a law corporation - Luminira Law Corporation.
Lisa received her Law Degree from the University of Manitoba. She was appointed Queen’s Counsel in Manitoba in 1998. She is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Law Society of British Columbia, and the Law Society of Manitoba. She is also a member of the Society of Tax and Estate Practitioners (TEP) and the Canadian Tax Foundation.
